Justin Bieber Accused Of Rape By Two Women

Justin Bieber Accused Of Rape By Two Women

Justin Bieber has responded to an allegation of sexual assault. Yesterday (June 20), a woman identified as Danielle tweeted a lengthy statement detailing an alleged incident that occurred in March 2014 in Austin, Texas. Her Twitter account has since been removed.

A second woman identified as Kadi, detailed her account via Twitter following Danielle’s post. Kadi wrote that the alleged incident took place in May 2015 in New York City. Justin Bieber has not addressed Kadi’s allegations. Find screenshots of the women’s statements at Pop Crave.

In her statement, Danielle claimed that she attended a small event in Austin hosted by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun on March 9, 2014. “My friends and I were enjoying ourselves the entire night,” Danielle wrote, adding, “A man then approached me and my friends and asked us if we would like to wait after the show to meet Justin. Of course we said yes. My friends and I thought it was strange at first and sketchy, but as promised, we all waited after the show because we were fans. Justin came up to us, we took some pictures and chatted for about 20 minutes.”

Danielle continued that Bieber and another man allegedly invited her and her friends to the Four Seasons Hotel. “Once again, we said yes. We didn’t think anything of it, other than hanging out with a huge celebrity,” Danielle wrote. “Fast forward to arriving at the hotel. Justin’s friend brought my 2 friends to a room, and then he took me to another room. Justin had made me agree not to say anything to anyone, or I can get in serious legal trouble. He asked for my phone and put it to charge.”

According to Danielle, Bieber “asked [her] to join him in bed,” and she said they also kissed briefly. Danielle wrote that Bieber “pushed [her] down onto the bed,” undressed her, and “told him that this was going too far and that [they] should stop.” Bieber allegedly told Danielle to “relax,” “pulled [her] underwear down,” and “forced himself inside [her].”

“As I laid there, speechless. My body felt unconscious,” Danielle wrote. “I don’t want to go into detail about what happened next. Although, this was 6 years ago, although I was one year older than him (he was 20, I was 21), I was still sexually assaulted without consent.”

Today, Justin Bieber seemingly addressed Danielle’s allegations in multiple tweets. “In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel,” Bieber wrote. “I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.” Bieber then shared numerous receipts and photos, describing his alleged whereabouts around the time of the alleged assault.

Bieber closed his thread, “Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.”

Kadi’s allegations followed Danielle’s on Twitter. She claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Bieber at New York’s Langham hotel in the early morning hours of May 5, 2015. According to her statement, Bieber allegedly kissed and groped Kadi before allegedly penetrating her without consent. Kadi claimed that she then pushed and kicked Bieber and ran from the scene.

Justin Bieber has not responded to Kadi’s allegations.

Eight people shot in bloody nine-hour stretch in New York City

Eight people were shot — one fatally — in New York across nine hours late Saturday into early Sunday, continuing the city’s blood-soaked weekend, according to police sources.

The hellish stretch began in Manhattan’s East Village around 7:20 p.m. Saturday when a 51-year-old man was blasted in the leg during an argument on East 12th Street near Avenue C, sources said.

The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

His name is being withheld pending family notification of his death.

Uptown in East Harlem, an 18-year-old man caught a bullet in the left hand around 8:40 p.m., in a squabble on Second Avenue near East 101st Street, sources said.

Just under an hour later, a 22-year-old man was shot in the chest at Burnside and Jerome avenues in The Bronx, according to sources.

Around 10:45 p.m. a 21-year-old man was struck in the leg at NYCHA’s Walt Whitman Houses in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, sources said.

All told, 24 people were shot citywide on Saturday, according to the NYPD — a rate of one every hour.

But the bloodshed didn’t stop as the calendar turned to Sunday.

A 24-year-old man sitting in his car at Dekalb and Targee streets in Park Hill, Staten Island was shot in the butt and right ankle when another motorist opened fire in an argument just after 2:35 a.m., sources said.

Back in Brooklyn, two men and a woman were shot on Sterling Place near Ralph Avenue just before 4:20 a.m., sources said.

The woman and one of the men, both 33, were brought by first responders to Brookdale Hospital with wounds to the back and left ankle, respectively, sources said.

The other man, 42, made his own way to Woodhull Hospital, where he was treated for a wound to his right hip.

The trio has clammed up with police, according to sources.

Trump Addresses Rally Amid Coronavirus Fears

US President Donald Trump is addressing supporters at his first campaign rally since March, when the US coronavirus lockdown began.

Earlier this week, Mr Trump boasted on Twitter that almost a million people had requested tickets for the event at Tulsa’s Bank of Oklahoma Center.

But the 19,000-seat arena was far from full and plans for him to address an outside “overflow” area were abandoned.

There are concerns the event could increase the spread of Covid-19.

Just hours before the rally, the campaign said six staff members involved in organising it had tested positive.

Mr Trump’s re-election campaign rally is one of the biggest indoor gatherings in the US since the country’s Covid-19 outbreak began.

Those attending had to sign a waiver protecting the Trump campaign from responsibility for any illness.

On Friday, Oklahoma’s supreme court rejected a lawsuit asking that social distancing guidelines be followed. However, the Trump campaign said attendees would have to pass temperature checks before being allowed into the venue – and that they would be offered face masks.

More than 2.2 million cases of Covid-19 and 119,000 associated deaths have been reported in the US, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The Trump campaign initially said that the president and Vice-President Mike Pence would first speak at an outdoor stage set up for overflow crowds.

Supporters had began queuing earlier this week for a chance to get into the arena, amid expectations that at least 100,000 people would gather in central Tulsa.

But when the numbers failed to appear, campaign officials cancelled the outdoor appearance, blaming “radical protesters” and the media for attempting to “frighten off” supporters.

There were some volatile scenes outside the venue but no serious trouble was reported.

Inside the arena itself, the upper tier was largely empty, although the actual turnout is not yet clear.

What did Trump say?

In his opening remarks, Mr Trump said there had been “very bad people outside, they were doing bad things”, but did not elaborate.

He told those present that they were “warriors” for attending despite the coronavirus warnings and said that the “silent majority” was “stronger than ever before”.

Taking aim at his Democratic presidential rival, he described Joe Biden as “a helpless puppet of the radical left”.

Mr Trump also cast doubt on the genuineness of some of the country’s coronavirus cases and accused left-wingers of “desecrating” statues at recent Black Lives Matter protests.

What’s the background?

The rally has been held amid fears it could become a “super spreader” event. The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Oklahoma has been rising this week.

In a Facebook post, Tulsa Mayor GT Bynum acknowledge that Tulsa’s residents were divided over it being the first city to host such an event.

“We do this as our positive Covid-19 cases are rising, but while our hospital capacity remains strong. Some think it is great, some think it is reckless. Regardless of where each of us falls on that spectrum, we will go through it as a community,” he wrote.

Obaseki noted he was not a divisive candidate, adding that he was “speaking with all the aspirants. My hope and purpose for the PDP is to have a united and very strong party.”

Invictus Obi Pleads Guilty To N4.2bn Fraud, Gets 20 Years In Prison

Obinwanne Okeke, the Nigerian businessman owner of Invictus Group who was arrested in the United States last year, has pleaded guilty to $11 million (N4.2 billion) fraud.

Mr Okeke, 32, admitted to American prosecutors that he was involved in computer-based fraud between 2015 and 2019.

Joshua Stueve, a spokesperson for the United States District Court for Eastern District of Virginia, told PREMIUM TIMES on Thursday evening that Mr Okeke could spend 20 years maximum penalty in an American jail.

He would be sentenced on October 22, Mr Stueve said.

“A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors,” the court official said.

Robert Krask, an American judge of the district, certified the guilty plea on Thursday morning to clear the paths for Mr Okeke’s sentencing.

Mr Okeke and other alleged conspirators said to still be at large were accused of targeting American businesses in a probe led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Unatrac, a subsidiary of heavy equipment giant Caterpillar, was amongst the companies said to have been targeted by the cartel in a business email compromise scheme for several years. Over $11 million was said to have been traced to the ring, amidst claims that Mr Okeke allegedly used proceeds of his illicit dealings to build a business empire in Abuja and other parts of Nigeria.
