Following the ongoing arrest and subsequent court case of Nigeria artist, Naira Marley by EFCC.Some Nigeria celebrities have come out to express their concerns and opinions towards the singer’s case.
Daddy Showkey took to his Instagram page to express his thoughts and opinionĀ as regard how the EFCC is taking handling the case.
The veteran singer said he considered the EFCC action on Naira Marley’s case as that of a shabby treatment and wonders why such kind of treatment can’t be carried out on corrupt leaders and politicians in the country.
Actress Onuoha also took to her Instagram page to plead with the EFCC to temper justice with mercy towards Naira’s who has been charged with 11 internet fraud cases.
Also urges them to go after Nigeria corrupt politicians looting the nation with the measure of Naira Maley’s case.She also said her family has been victim of internet fraud before and the pain felt afterward was palpable.
She urges Nigerian young men and women to desist from internet fraud and make better use of their time instead of practising cybercrime and other forms of crime.
The Nollyhood actress also uses the medium to address Nigeria Youth to stand up and speak up to their elected leaders for better government and accountability in other to eradicate the height of scam going on in Nigeria.
She said this after Naira Maley has pleaded not guilty in court but still in police custody pending the time his bail application on May 30th 2019.
