Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage has cancelled her performance at the upcoming DSTV Festival in Johannesburg.
She said, “I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is sick. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
This tweet has led to her being pelted by insults by South Africans who claim not to know of her existence.
