Biggest Signs A Girl Likes You

Signs A Girl Likes You - yes1

Sometimes the signs a woman likes you are things she does intentionally, and other times they’re subconscious. Whether she means to or not, she’s sending you pretty clear hints about how she feels about you and what her answer would be if you asked her out.

Save yourself some stress and find a good match faster by learning how to tell if someone likes you.

Here are the biggest signs a girl likes you:

1. She Doesn’t Hesitate Saying Yes When You Ask Her To Hang Out

A girl who genuinely likes you isn’t going to hesitate when you ask to hang out.

When you ask her to get a bite to eat with you, she’ll usually smile and say sure or absolutely.

And if she does have something planned…

…she’ll try to reschedule:

“Oh I can’t. I’m so sorry…but I’d love to try something another time!”

“I have plans tomorrow…but I’m free on Saturday!”

A woman who likes you will genuinely want to spend her time around you.

2. She’s Told Her Friends About You

I’ll let you in on a little secret:

Women love talking with their girlfriends about the guy they have a crush on.

How do you know if she’s told her friends about you?

Usually, girls will unintentionally tell you:

If, while the two of you are hanging out, she says something like, “I was telling my roommate the other day about how you had never seen Jurassic Park. She couldn’t believe it either!” then you can be pretty sure she’s interested in more than friendship.

3. She Does Specific Things When You’re In A Group Setting

When you’re first getting to know each other, it’s likely you’ll hang out in a group setting.

If a girl is interested in you (and aside from common in-person flirting signs) she will:

  • Frequently look at you (you can tell this if you two make a lot of eye contact)
  • Make it a point to sit close enough to you that the two of you can talk

Either of these are great signs a girl likes you.

4. She Initiates Physical Touch When You’re In Public

Here, there are two different scenarios to consider:

When You First See Her

What does your friend do when you first see each other?

Awkward wave? High five? Side hug?

If a girl likes you, she’ll likely do something that breaks the intimate “touch barrier.” The most common way she’ll do it is through a sincere hug. A sincere hug is more than the standard “greeting” hug, and may even be closer to a bear hug.

This means she feels comfortable around you and has no problem breaking the “touch barrier.”

When You’re Hanging Out

Pay attention to the number of times she touches you.

If it’s more than 5 times while you’re together (specifically on the knee, shoulder, or arm), then she’s further breaking that “touch barrier.”

Physical contact is important in any relationship, and it’s a great sign if she’s already breaking the touch barrier down.

5. Conversations Between The Two Of You Seems Effortless

Both your conversations and your time together seem effortless.

A two hour date suddenly turns into an eight hour date, and neither of you seem to notice where the time went.

If this is happening to you…

…she definitely likes you.

Don’t think twice about it.

6. You’re Starting To See Her “Dorky” Side

A woman who is comfortable with and sincerely likes you will start to reveal things she doesn’t share with the rest of the world.

Many times, this can come in the form of an embarrassing quirk she has…

…or watching her nerd-out about her favorite book or TV series.

The two of you are comfortable together, and neither of you has to be someone that you’re not.

7. She Has Openly Told You Some Personal Things About Her Life

Think about the conversations you two have.

If this girl really likes you, your conversations won’t always remain surface level. In fact, these conversations can turn personal very quickly.

You don’t just know what her favorite movie is…

…you also know what some of her biggest goals and dreams are.

If she isn’t afraid to reveal the more personal stuff to you, it means she trusts you. With women, trust is not something freely or easily given.

8. She’s Mentioned An Event In The Future She Wants To Go To With You

This should be a dead giveaway of her interest.

When a woman includes you in her plans for the future, it means she wants you there…in her future.

This could include her saying anything from, “We should see that movie when it comes out,” to “There’s this wedding coming up and I’d love for you to go with me.”

While these are two extremes, any time a girl includes you her plans for the future is a good sign.

9. She Wants You To Meet Her Roommates/Friends

Most women won’t date a guy who hasn’t been given the stamp of approval by her closest friends.

So, if she’s saying things like, “You totally have to meet my roommates. They’d love you!” or “My roommates have been dying to meet you,” it tells you two things:

  1. She’s told her friends about you
  2. She want her friends’ opinion of you

If she’s including her friends in the process, she thinking about keeping you around for a while.

10. She’s Fully Present When She’s With You

Is your girl constantly checking her Facebook, sending texts, or making calls when she’s with you?

If a girl really likes you, she’ll be fully present when you’re together, especially one-on-one.

Now:

She may check her Instagram a few times or send an occasional text, but for the most part, she’s really engaged with what you two are doing or talking about.

If she’s more focused on you than her phone, it’s a great sign.

11. She’s Wants To Hang Out One-On-One

It’s usually during one-on-one time that relationships move to the next level. There are countless things that may happen here that likely wouldn’t happen when you’re hanging with a group:

  • More personal conversations
  • More intimate flirting
  • A kiss

So, if you’ve been consistently hanging out with a girl for 5-6 weeks, and she still doesn’t want to hang out with just you when you ask, she may only want to be friends.

12. She Mirrors Your Behaviors

There’s an old phrase about why people copy each other: imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Meaning… we want to be like the people that we like!

This holds true in romance too. When a girl likes you, she will subconsciously imitate, or mirror, your behavior and body language (this is especially true when a shy girl likes you)

Does she lean in when you lean in? Does she relax when you relax? Swirl the ice in her glass after you do?

Whether she realizes it or not, she mirrors your behavior so that you will have a positive impression of her…

She does it because she’s into you!

13. She Asks You A Lot Of Questions

If you’ve already read our post on personal questions to ask a girl you know the importance that asking questions has.

By asking questions she is communicating her interest in you and her desire to get to know you on a deeper level.

Be sure to answer her questions thoughtfully. You’ll encourage her to keep going and show her that she’s someone you’d like to open up to.

Native Doctor Swindles Robbers Of Money Made From Robbing

Operatives of the Force Intelligence Response Team, IRT, have arrested two brothers; Akinola Akeem and Muyiwa Akeem and their native doctor, Odunta Moses, who were members of a notorious robbery gang that had been terrorizing Ijebu Mushin area of Ogun State for a long time.

The suspects were said to have been rounded up recently after they attacked the home of Pa Olutokunbo, in Ikala Village of Ijebu Mushin, killed his 72-year-old wife, Christiana Olutokunbo and robbed him of the sum of N550,000 and three mobile phones.

One of Pa Olutokunbo’s sons, who is based in the United Kingdom, was said to have written a petition to the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, asking for an investigation into the robbery of his father’s house and the killing of his mother. IGP, in-turn, directed his operatives at the IRT to investigate and track down the armed robbers.

Vanguard gathered that the Ogun State Annex of the IRT, which was deployed to carry out the investigation arrested one of the users of the robbed mobiles who led the operatives to Akinola Akeem, from whom he got the phone.

Akinola confessed during investigations that he had carried out some operations within Ijebu Mushin area of Ogun state including the robbery in Pa Olutokunbo’s house and the killing of his 72-year-old wife.

He then led the IRT operatives to arrest his younger brother, Muyiwa who also took part in the operation and their native doctor, Oduntan Moses, who prepared charms for them before their operation.

A source who took part in the investigation told Vanguard on the condition anonymity that “The members of the gang invaded the residence of Pa Olutokunbo, of Ikala Village in Ijebu Mushin area of Ogun state on the 15th March, 2020, and during the robbery, the sum of N550, 000, three mobile phones, were taken from the home.

While the robbery was on, Pa Olutkunbo,’s wife age 72 years, Christiana Olutunkbo, started shouting for help, one of the robbers, named Akinola Mayowa, pulled the old woman into one of their rooms and strangled her to death.

“His brother, Akinola Akeem, who took part in the operation attempted to kill Pa Olutokunbo, but the old man pretended to have died from shock and the robbers left believing, he was dead. The case was reported at Itamogiri Police Station

“On the 20th March, 2020, a son to the victim, Femi Olutukunbo, based in the United Kingdom sent a petition to the Inspector General of Police and the Ogun State annex was asked to investigate which succeeded in arresting the user of one of the robbed phones. Akeem Akinola, who took part in the armed robbery and murder was arrested and he led us to arrest Mayowa, his brother and Oduntan Moses, a.k.a. Koba, their native doctor and they all confessed to taking part in the crime.

“We also gathered that Oduntan Moses used to prepare charms to fortify members of the gang before going for any operation and all proceeds of the robbery were usually brought before him before it would be shared”.

Confessions

When Vanguard interviewed Mayowa Akiola, 29, a native of Ijebu Mushin area of Ogun state, he narrated how he killed Pa Olutokunbo’s wife stating that he and his brother took to crime because they were frustrated with life.

He said: “I have gone on three robbery operations and I killed a woman in my last operation. Myself and my younger brother formed the gang because we were frustrated.

“In the first operation, I made N5,000 and in the second one, I got N9,000. The third operation was at Ikala, where we killed the old woman. Before going for that robbery, I first went to Koba, a powerful native doctor in my community to prepare charms for me and my brother.

“We got information about Pa Olutokunbo, because he talked carelessly. He was in a bar and was talking about the money he had in his house which my overheard. We then went and consulted a native doctor to prepare charms for us to make us succeed in the operation.

“We asked Koba, to check if the man had the money in his house and he said yes, we then asked him to give us charms that would enable us appear inside the man’s house. “He prepared it and gave us to wear it on our necks, but when got there the charm failed to work and when we called him on the phone, told as to be patient that someone would come out of the house.

“We saw someone coming out of the house and when he was going back, we followed him into the house. We met four persons in the house but there was this old woman we met who started shouting and I took her into the room but she died while I was pulling her. “My brother Akeem asked the man for the money in his house and the man gave us N15,000 .

We called Koba again and told him that the money was not in the house, but Koba asked us to keep searching because he was very sure that there was money in that house as his oracle never deceived him.

“When my brother held the man and tried to kill him, the man begged and went into his room and brought out a bag containing money and gave it to us. “We saw charms on the money and we called Koba and informed him about the money and the charm and he asked us not to bring it to him immediately. We took the bag to him and he gave me N60,000 and gave my brother N50,000.

Before then, Koba had told my brother and I that he could prepare rituals for us that would make us rich and he had asked us to get the sum of N100,000 for it, but since we were so poor and we couldn’t raise the money, we decided to give him the N100,000 out of the money he gave us.

“He prepared a soap for us which he asked us to bath with. But after all we did, we did not get anything. We then realised that Koba fooled us. My brother and I were looking for a way of fighting him to get back our money before the police came and arrested us”.

On his part, Koba, said his charms were potent but blamed the brothers for not using the charms as instructed. According to him, “they came to me complaining that they were very poor and want to be rich, then I asked them to bring N100,000 to prepare charms for them.

“They said they didn’t have money then but they came later that they heard that an old man had money in his house and they wanted to rob him.

“I consulted my oracle which informed me that there was money in the house but the money was ritual money. I gave them charms which would enable them get into the house and get the money.

“They got the money and brought it to me, then they gave me N100,000 from the money to prepare charms for them which I did but I don’t know why it didn’t work for them. My charms are portent and they are working very well”, he boasted.

How Notorious Lagos Criminal Gang Leader was Arrested

Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command CP Hakeem Olusegun Odumosu

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested the wanted traditional ruler of Oguntade Village, Oba Lateefu Olarinde and his son, Prince Yusuf, alleged to be responsible for violent attacks on people and properties in Satellite Town, Amuwo Odofin.

Olarinde, a self-acclaimed monarch, was arrested on Thursday at his hideout in Ile-Epo, several months after he fled to Benin Republic as a result of a manhunt for him.

They were declared wanted by the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, after series of petitions from residents, warehouse owners and truck drivers accused the monarch and his sons of harbouring and unleashing armed thugs on people who refused to fall for their extortion.

THISDAY had in a series of reports done last year reported the activities of these thugs notorious for killing, maiming people, looting and demolishing properties at Mile 2, Abule-Ado, Ojo Road, Abule-Osun, some parts of Festac, Vin-Niger and Abule-Osun areas.

Although their operations have continued unchallenged for many years, they recently drew the ire of the CP when they launched an onslaught against truckers that killed two and injured many others.

Policemen who were sent to contain the situation were also attacked by the hoodlums who pelted bottles and stones on them as well as destroyed some of their vehicles.

Angered by the development, the CP vowed to fish out the culprits and their sponsors no matter how long it took.

It was gathered that he deployed undercover detectives to monitor Oguntade village and report back to him whenever Olarinde and Yusuf, who both fled to Benin Republic, returned.

Left in the dark of the plans by the police, the suspects who sneaked back into the country weeks ago, sponsored another attack last Tuesday at Abule-Oshun where three persons, including a young man, were badly injured.

While some of the hoodlums who took part in that attack were immediately rounded up, policemen from Satellite Division, Area E Command and the undercover operatives last weekend ambushed Yusuf at his hideout in Ile-Epo.

Few days afterwards, operatives clamped down on his father, Olarinde, said to be undergoing questioning at the Special Anti-Robbery Sqaud (SARS) at the moment.

Before Olarinde’s arrest, sources hinted that he attempted to get his son released by petitioning the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in charge of Zone Two, Ahmed Iliyasu who rebuffed him.

The AIG, it was gathered, endorsed the action of the CP, insisting that they be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted.

Already, the police have asked all victims of the gang to come forward and substantiate their cases while a thorough search is being carried out around their areas of operation.

The state government stated this at a joint press conference addressed by the Commissioners for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, Transportation, Dr. Frederick Oladeinde; Special Advisers to Lagos State Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Mrs. Aramide Adeyoye and Mr. Oluwatoyin Fayinka, Special Adviser on Transportation, as well as chairman of the presidential Taskforce Team on Apapa, Mr. Kayode Opeifa.

According to Transportation Commissioner, Oladeinde, there was no need to worry as 75 per cent road users would not be affected, pointing out that the 25 per cent that would be affected, alternative routes had been created for them and would most times be traveling against traffic.

The Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure Mrs. Aramide Adeyoye said the government had assigned all the responsibilities to all the traffic management agencies in the state, especially the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA), adding that major repairs had been carried out on inner roads in areas like Oyingbo and Yaba that have direct links with the bridge to ensure hitch-free ride.

Also, Special Adviser on Transportation, Fayinka said not less than 650 LASTMA officials would take the lead in traffic management to be complemented by other traffic agencies and “they are well prepared and trained and are ready”.

Speaking, Opeifa assured that there was no cause for alarm because it is something that has been done before and like before there won’t be much stress or hardship on road users.

Times A Man Will Deeply Regret Losing A Good Woman

When a man lets a good woman go, he may not see his mistake right away. When he realizes that real love doesn’t come around every day, he will really regret what he had. Here are 8 ways that will happen.

1. When he sees that no one loves him like you did

You loved him and cared about him because he was important to you, and you only ever asked for his love in return. When he loses you, he will discover that such a love is rare.

2. When he notices the selfishness in the world

You loved him with no strings attached. You showed him compassion because you truly care.

Eventually, he will see that most people have a hidden agenda that motivates their relationships, and he will see how genuine and loving you really are.

3. When he meets someone who values money over love

Financial support, material possessions… these are not the things you care about in a relationship.

Someday, he will meet a woman who doesn’t share your priorities. When that happens, he will start to respect that you were with him because you loved him, not because you needed something from him.

4. When he has no one he can really talk to

Men love spending time with their buddies, but guys don’t usually open up about their feelings with each other. When he’s going through something and needs to talk, he will miss your empathetic presence and open heart.

5. When he realizes that a real connection is rare

All people need to feel seen and understood, even the most macho of men.

Someday your man will realize that even though he has great times with his friends, he never seems to build deeper connections with them. Then he will miss your intimate understanding of his heart.

6. When a good time isn’t enough any more

If he’s the kind of man that cancelled a romantic evening to go out with his buddies, he’ll find out that he sold himself short.

The party stage doesn’t last forever, and when he finally grows out of it, he will learn that it can’t stand up to spending time with someone who really loves you.

7. When he sees how patient you were

There is a stage in life when men start to really examine their weaknesses. When your man gets there, he will see how you could overlook his flaws and see the goodness in him.

He will know that you tried to make him the best he could be, and he will regret that he wasn’t able to step up.

8. When he realizes that friends aren’t enough

Friends are wonderful, but the love of a loyal woman is even better. She helps a man reach those deep places in his heart and shows him what real devotion is.

As supportive as his friends may be, eventually he will come to realize what the two of you could have been together.

Why Some Women Still Die In Pregnancy Or Childbirth

Recent studies show, an estimated 303 000 women will die from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. In addition, for every woman who dies in childbirth, dozens more suffer injury, infection or disease.

The majority of maternal deaths are due to haemorrhage, infection, unsafe abortion, and eclampsia (very high blood pressure leading to seizures), or from health complications worsened in pregnancy. In all these cases, unavailable, inaccessible, unaffordable, or poor quality care is fundamentally responsible. Maternal deaths are detrimental to social development and wellbeing, as some 1 million children are left motherless each year. These children are more likely to die within 1-2 years of their mothers’ death.

Women need not die in childbirth. We must give a young woman the information and support she needs to address her reproductive health needs, help her through a pregnancy, and care for her and her newborn well into childhood. The vast majority of maternal deaths could be prevented if women had access to quality family planning services; skilled care during pregnancy, childbirth and after delivery; or post-abortion care and where permissible, safe abortion services. Increased attention for women living in conflict situations, or under humanitarian crisis is needed because a working health system with skilled personnel is key to saving these women’s lives.

Although the world did not achieve the Millennium Development Goal of reducing maternal mortality by three quarters between 1990 and 2015; great strides were made and many countries saw significant improvements in maternal health. Looking beyond 2015, WHO is committed to support accelerated reductions in maternal mortality by 2030, as part of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda. For this to happen, high quality reproductive, maternal and newborn health care must be available, accessible and acceptable to all in need. As part of the Ending Preventable Maternal Mortality Strategy and objectives, WHO and partners support countries to achieve this goal, so that women, girls and adolescents can survive and thrive.

There Are Six ‘Types’ Of Covid-19: Scientists Reveal

COVID-19 comes in six different forms and each has a “different cluster of symptoms”, scientists have revealed.

Experts claim the new development could have important implications for further care practices for those who are particularly vulnerable to a second wave of coronavirus infections.

The new research could help determine how patients with the virus are treated

Data gathered from King’s College London’s Covid Symptom study app created a model to establish which patients are most likely to require breathing support and hospitalisation based on their earliest symptoms.

The researchers claimed that the majority of patients that required breathing support present at hospitals 13 days after they first show symptoms of the virus.

Knowing those who are at higher risk of severe infection by as early as day five could help save hundreds of lives.

Study author Dr Claire Steves, from King’s College London, added: “If you can predict who these people are at day five, you have time to give them support and early interventions such as monitoring blood oxygen and sugar levels, and ensuring they are properly hydrated – simple care that could be given at home, preventing hospitalisations and saving lives.”

Results from artificial intelligence which tested whether or not symptoms appeared together and how they progressed found six clusters.

1. Flu-like with no fever

People in this cluster will have a headache, loss of smell, muscle pains, cough, sore throat, chest pain, no fever.

2. Flu-like with fever

Patients in this cluster will experience headache, loss of smell, cough, sore throat, hoarseness, fever and a loss of appetite.

3. Gastrointestinal

Those in this cluster will experience headaches, loss of smell, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, sore throat, chest pain, no cough.

4. Severe level 1, fatigue

Again people in this cluster will experience headaches, loss of smell, cough, fever, hoarseness, chest pain, fatigue.

5. Severe level 2, confusion

Patients will experience headaches, loss of smell, loss of appetite, cough, fever, hoarseness, sore throat, chest pain, fatigue, confusion, muscle pain

6. Severe level 3, abdominal and respiratory

Patients in this category will have a whole host of symptoms such as headache, loss of smell, loss of appetite, cough, fever, hoarseness, sore throat, chest pain, fatigue, confusion, muscle pain, shortness of breath, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.

Headaches are a prominent symptom and this latest research comes after experts at Imperial College London revealed that 62 per cent of patients suffered from headaches.

The King’s College researchers said they had also recently identified skin rash as another key symptom.

The team found that patients in the severe clusters were more likely to be overweight, older and frailer.

They also found they were more likely to have underlying health conditions such as lung disease and diabetes.

Sebastien Ourselin, professor of healthcare engineering at King’s College London and senior author on the study, said: “Being able to gather big datasets through the app and apply machine learning to them is having a profound impact on our understanding of the extent and impact of Covid-19, and human health more widely.”

Oyo Commissioner, Fakorede Condemns Maltreatment Of Ibadan Girl

Oyo State Commissioner of Youth and Sport, Seun Fakorede has condemned the act of some security operative who molested an ex-corps member in Ibadan.

Fakorede, in a statement on his official Facebook page, described the action as a grossly unacceptable one.  He also noted that the action of the security operatives suggested a sinister motive behind the whole act. He called on the authorities of the Nigerian Police to bring the perpetrators of this act to book.

His statement read: “On Wednesday, my attention was drawn to a viral video of an ex-corps member named Towobola arrested by the security operatives in the residence of a suspected armed robber/kidnapper in the city of Ibadan. The video which has attracted strong indignation from the general public admits the fact that this action of the law enforcement agents is grossly unacceptable and should be condemned in its entirety.

“As the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports and the Chairman, NYSC Governing Board in the State I lent my voice to the condemnation of this barbaric act by this enforcement agents, I equally condemn the uncivil and unprofessional manner in which the operatives were interrogating Towobola about her private life in the glare of the whole world which suggested a sinister motive behind the whole act. We have called on the authorities in the Nigeria Police to not only investigate, but also to ensure that the perpetrators of this dastard act are brought to book so as to serve as deterrence to others.

“The State Coordinator, NYSC Oyo State, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe, has equally added her voice to that of others who have risen to condemn the way and manner in which the men of the force dehumanised the lady in question. She condemns this act of brutality against an innocent Youth who was going about her legitimate business of peddling her wares, shoes, to be precise. It was quite unfortunate for her to have been turned into a victim of circumstances and an object of ridicule despite the fact that she was not found in any crime scene, neither was anything incriminating discovered on her.

“However, the information reaching me is that the Inspector General of Police has ordered discreet investigations into the circumstances surrounding the dehumanizing treatment meted out to Towobola and the investigation has led to the identification of three Police Officers and one Civilian accomplice who participated in the unprofessional act.

“Two suspects, ASP Tijani Olatunji & Inspr Gboyega Oyeniyi have been arrested for their role in the discreditable conduct and incivility to a member of the public. They are currently being detained at the Lagos State CID detention facility, Panti.”

Policeman Killed As Gunmen Abduct Four Chinese Workers In Cross River

The police spokesperson for the state, Irene Ugboh Itohan, confirmed the incident to the BBC.

She said a policeman working with the Chinese nationals was killed during the abduction which happened near a quarry site in the remote area of Akampka on Tuesday night.

Security personnel have been deployed to search for the expatriates.

It is not yet clear why the gunmen seized them, but kidnapping for ransom is rampant across Nigeria with both locals and foreigners targeted.

In some cases, the abductors kill their captives if their demands are not met.
