The Nigerian news sphere has be saturated with the reports that a 22 year old Islamic gospel musician, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, has been sentenced to death by a Sharia court sitting in Kano on the charges of blasphemy against the Prophet Mohammed.
This sentence has been met with widespread outrage all over the country with many asking why Boko Haram terrorists are rehabilitated but innocent citizens are executed.
A report making the rounds on social media today says that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has condemned the sentence on Yahaya in a new video.
This report was first published by HumAngle who promised to release the full audio later on. Since it was posted on their Twitter page however it has got a lot of people talking.
